About our LAN Parties

We believe that an exceptional LAN is much more than just a room full of gamers and their computers; our LANs are a celebration of shared game experiences. You suggest the games we play together, you decide the soundtrack, and we immerse the venue in lighting, and together we cultivate a friendly social atmosphere for game-lovers of all backgrounds and skill levels.

We are non-profit – the ticket price covers the venue hire, internet and insurance costs, and everyone, including us organisers, pays for a ticket.

Extra Activities

• Pub quiz – Test your gaming knowledge with several rounds cooked up by our finest quiz-masters.
• Projector games – Play games head to head on our 12 foot projection screen. At past events we’ve enjoyed Boomerang Fu, Towerfall, Duck Game, Hidden in Plain Sight, Nidhogg, Drawful 2 and Mount Your Friends among others
• Pizza order – A staple of any LAN party, we take a big order of pizzas and order them in for your enjoyment

Eating

• The venue’s kitchen has a kettle, microwave, oven, hob and fridge
• Corner Shops – 2 min drive, 7 min walk
• Tesco – 7 min drive, 30 min walk
• Waitrose – 5 min drive, 25 min walk
• Plus many takeaway restaurants

Drinking

• Bring your own alcohol to the event
• Next to the venue: St Mary’s Supporter’s Club Bar!
• The lowest drink prices for miles around
• Two full-size pool tables, darts, toads and skittles
• Open on Fri & Sat: 7:30pm – 11pm and Sun 7:30pm – 10:30pm

Sleeping

• Floor space in main hall
• Four small sleeping rooms through kitchen
• Premier Inn Hotel – 5 min drive, 25 min walk
• Plus many Airbnbs

What to bring

• Computer
• Keyboard, mouse and mouse mat
• Headset or headphones
• Screen – only one per person
• Cables for the above
• Single airbed – we have limited sleeping space
• Bedding
• Towel and toiletries – the hall has a private hot shower available

• Network – 1x Gigabit network connection and RJ45 (8P8C) Ethernet cable
• Power – 2x IEC C13 power cables – normal UK sockets available on request
• WiFi – 802.11ac wireless network
• Internet – 900mbps download 100mbps upload
• Desk space – 90cm wide and 68cm deep
• Chair – plastic, non-folding and pretty comfortable – or bring your own chair
• Sleeping – space for a single airbed, camp bed or equivalent

Parking & travel

• 13 free parking spaces on-site
• Lots of free on-street parking
• Message in Discord if you are interested in lift sharing
• Lewes train station – 24 min walk, 5 min taxi

Security

• You are responsible for securing your possessions
• We do not accept liability for any loss, damage, or theft
• We will lock the venue at 4am each night, and unlock it at 9am each morning
